Frequently Asked Questions

To enter the competiton you will need to either register for an account or log in to an existing account. Once logged in to the site you can select the WAP competition you wish to enter. Then you play select the location/s on the image that you believe the ball.

To register to join WAP you will need to click on login/register and enter your personal details. These details will be used to contact you in case you are one of the lucky winners.

Each competition is expected to last 4-6 months. If all the tickets are sold prior to the end of the competition it may end earlier than expected. If this is the case and you have entered the competition we will let you know so that you won't miss out on the announcement of the winner.

The winner will be informed that they have won via email within 10 business days of the closing date using the email address provided with the competition entry. The winner will also be announced on the WAP website.

The judging panel will vary from time to time but we expect to use a number of existing and former sportsmen and women, as well as referees and umpires who can be considered experts in their field. At the end of each competition the panel will select, in their expert opinion, where they beleive the location of the missing ball is.

The panel will convene following the end of the competiton and the announcement of the winner will be made at 12pm the first Friday following decision.

There is a limit of 10,000 tickets per individual.

The use of spot the ball as an entry method for these types of competitions has significant legal precendant. There are a number of companies that have utilised these competitions for decades and given away thousands of prizes to lucky winners. WAP is using the method but giving away prizes on a bigger scale.

If you haven't received your confirmation email within 24 hours of entereing the compeition then please email info@wapnow.co.uk and provide your name, email address and contact number and we will check to make sure your entry has gone through and you have not been erroneously charged.

If the winner cannot be contacted within 30 days of the anouncement then the next closest entry will be contacted. This process will be repeated until a lucky winner is reached.

WAP competitions are open to all persons aged 18 and over, regardless of their nationality or country of residence, as long as it is legal for them to enter, except the Promoter’s employees or members of their immediate family, agents or any other person who is connected with the creation or administration of our Competitions.

We expect around 130,000 tickets to be sold for each competition. The odds of winning are dependant on the actual number of tickets sold and of course your skill in being able to select the correct spot of the missing ball. For comparison the odds of winning the Euromillions jackpot are approximately 1:116,500,000 and 1:14,000,000 for the National Lottery jackpot.

No. All fees and taxes are paid for before awarding the prize.

For Lucien Road competition, the maximum tickets allowed to be sold is 150,000

A cash prize will be paid to the winner, net of any fees required to host the competition.

WAP is working with data logistics company, Overmore, to ensure that your data is handled with the utmost care and will not be distibuted to any third parties that we have not been given specific permission to. WAP is compliant with all UK and EU data protection regulations.
